Melanie Massie is the “somebody” that everybody needs to know in order to get something
done, connect to the right people or take a project to the next level. With over 30 years in the
entertainment industry. As President of Mel Mass Media Inc, Melanie Massie has secured a roster of celebrities that is formidable and fabulous. During her tenure with BET Networks, she developed an extensive client list which includes MTV, Facebook Watch, NAACP, Equal Justice
Initiative, ESPN, Jesse Collins Entertainment, and many others including WHTWRKS, Inc. where
she casted multi-cultural talent for major brands like Doritos, Chase and LinkedIn.
Over the years, she has secured such A-list talent as Denzel Washington, Tom Cruise, Mariah
Carey, JAY Z, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Queen Latifah, Will Smith, Serena Williams, and many
others, for a myriad of live events, TV shows and specials, and spotlighted programming
including the powerful SOS Telethon for which she booked more than 200 artists/celebrities.
That event raised more than $13 million for the survivors of Hurricane Katrina.
With her warm personality and get-it-done tenacity, Melanie is a creative conjunction, always
able to bring the right talent to the right project at the right time.

Michael Massie, VP of Operations
As VP of Operations, Michael leads the internal systems, budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and production logistics that allow Mel Mass Media to deliver world-class talent experiences on time and on budget — maintaining the relationship-driven, white-glove standard the company is known for.
In addition to his operations leadership, Michael is spearheading the launch of Mel Mass Media’s new film division, expanding the company’s footprint from talent relations and live events into original film production. In this capacity, Michael will serve as Executive Producer and Lead Writer.
